At a Committee hearing, Sheldon Whitehouse asked Pam Bondi whether investigators had found photos of Donald Trump with partially clothed or nude young women among Epstein’s materials. Bondi called the question “salacious” and “disgusting,” but do you what she NEVER said during that questioning? NO.

Decades of marriage and my wife is still not sure what to make of me.

Finished A Fever in the Heartland. It’s the true story of a hateful con man who rose to power on lies and bigotry…and only a sex crime could break his grip. May every D.C. Stephenson meet their reckoning. #books

This is the equivalent of the Prince Andrew interview. Now you KNOW he’s guilty. #Epstein #Trumpsguilty

Filled with gratitude and hope seeing millions of Americans rise up to reject the corruption, cruelty, and indecency of this administration. The “No Kings” protests, coordinated in nearly 2,000 towns and cities, brought out people of all ages and backgrounds willing to speak out. #NoKingsDay

The same folks who throw daily tantrums about “DEI hires” just put a 22-year-old grocery store clerk with ZERO counter-terrorism experience in charge of our nation’s terrorism prevention office. Kid probably still has his mom as his emergency contact. Two years ago, he couldn’t even order a beer.

For a party constantly thumping its chest about masculinity and alpha dominance, the GOP seems overrun with simpering, obsequious bootlickers all kneeling in eternal submission to a man they once claimed to despise. #shameless #pathetic

I can’t say this explanation is wrong, sadly.

Thousands of teachers, librarians, students, veterans, grandparents, and fellow citizens marched in downtown Cincinnati today for the 50501 protest. We stood together to push back against the creeping fascism of this administration.

If you believe in standing up for what’s right, join us next time.

People who think billionaires aren’t motivated by money are delusional. There one thing billionaires are obsessed with and it is the one thing they can never have:

ENOUGH.

A democracy is only as strong as its citizens’ ability to think critically. Verify your sources. Question your biases. Stay vigilant.

Today, at The Cincinnati Art Museum, I watched a nun quietly contemplating a bed. This is the Pitman Bedstead; a true work of art carved by Adelaide Nourse and designed by her husband, Benn Pitman. I was tempted to climb into it, but the sister reminded me, “There is no rest for the wicked.” 😆

On Dec 10, 1948, the UN adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, proclaiming dignity, freedom, & equality for all. 75 years later, it remains a beacon in the fight for justice. Let’s honor this day by recommitting to its vision: a world where human rights are universal. #HumanRightsDay

In 2023, scientists unveiled a remarkable discovery in Thailand’s mangrove forests: an electric-blue tarantula. This vibrant spider’s coloration stems from unique nanostructures on its hairs, creating an iridescent blue hue.

On this date, 133 years ago, the Washington Monument was completed. Begun in 1848, it was a 36 year project and, at 555 feet, it was the tallest structure in the world...and it held that record for five years until being handily beaten by the Eiffel Tower in 1889.

December has arrived. As the days grow colder and the nights longer, this final month of the year offers us a unique gift: the time to look inward, to appreciate the warmth of connection, and to dream of what’s ahead.

Today, I’m reflecting on the small, unexpected things that bring joy and meaning to my days, like the laughter of family, the stillness of a forest trail, or just enjoying a delicious meal with friends.

What’s something unexpected you’re grateful for this year? #Rumi #grateful
