Proof is in the pudding

I've watched a couple of the games back and the set up at times is headscratching. The pressing as a unit is particularly a concern but that's not something you learn over a few months. It'll take the full season to implement to a really effective levels again.

Good thread as usual lad. I understand a lot of this, my main concerns are not the players themselves but what is being asked of them. Injuries having helped, but either has a setup that alienates salah and our striker or a setup that leaves the midfield badly exposed.

4 months isn't significant. I watched most of his games under Alonso. He's a ridiculous footballer. And besides we've been shite for months so its hard to gauge how good or bad some footballers have been in that time
