It’s a fantastic and deeply moving series, not to mention a warning from the past.

This is a terrible loss. No director in history had a run of movies like Rob Reiner; his first seven films are all different genres and all stone cold classics.

Excellent! I saw them on the UK leg of this tour in 1982.

That’s funny, so did I. A memorable musical experience and a remarkable film.

Thanks Richard. I’m in the UK, so I’ll just have to be patient. Keep up the great work!

Are stocks of the book in limited supply? I ordered my copy on Amazon months before release but it still hasn’t shipped.

The season about The Bonfire of the Vanities is another entertaining tale of a disastrous production. The waste, the miscasting, the boob jobs!

Yes it’s a great story and I believe it was Olivier’s widow Joan Plowright who actually suggested him. When they asked her for permission she said: “You should get Tony to do it, he does a marvellous Larry!”

James, why aren’t you including your commentary, the gag reel and deleted scenes on the 4K Blu-ray release? Surely this should be the premium version that delivers the best picture and sound and includes all the extras.

I attended a screening in London way back in 1991 when Spartacus was first restored with the ‘snails and oysters’ sequence, and it was quite a cinematic experience.

I thought they already did this and then due to an explosion accidentally blew the Moon out of Earth orbit back in 1999?
