Thank you for watching and posting. Not sure why they keep saying only life portrait as who knows re the Chandos, I’m sure I have never said that unless I had a brain freeze at some point 😊. It would be a bit arrogant to make that claim. All the very best. Steve

Steve Wadlow looks for evidence refuting/confirming a portrait owned by his dad is of #Shakespeare, taken from life. Spoiler: this hasn't been evidentially refuted, with circumstantial evidence in favour. Intriguing possibility- was it originally used as a prop in early production of #Hamlet?

When handled it is by palms of hand at edge no fingers on the front. There is a lot of debate re gloves. Many believe safer not to where ie slipping etc. but of course in some cases gloves are essential.
