When you advertise that you need to hire “multiple” Scrum Masters now to ramp up an org, that is a declaration of failure. I believe in Scrum— so much that ONE person with *Mastery* of Scrum (and Agile) can turn an org around. “Many” is a spending scheme.

I'm not saying Jenius Bank is a scam, but I am saying you'll be charged interest from day one, they will have a series of "data problems" and it may be weeks before you get your loan disbursed.

Claude's Sonnet 4.5 is absolutely unusable. Wasted my entire day, then tells me I hit the max limit. By Anthropic, we're done.

Everyone can see what's going on. They laugh 'cause they know they're untouchable, not because what I said was wrong.
Whatever it may bring. I will live by my own policies.

The tendency to "talk bad news down" is evidence of a culture that is not used to Empiricism. It's a culture of telling convincing narratives, because rewards and punishments come from a judge evaluating stories, not from actual consequences.

The galaxy.ai "AI sketch to image" feature is absolutely worthless. It requires you include a text description, and it works based only on that. It gives the most generic subject, devoid of any context. It could be a Google search guessing at your key word.

Those gen AIs that are supposed to work from your pic aren't great. Sometimes they make an amazing image, but they add wild elements I didn't ask for. I need an artist on call at all hours for $20 a month.

Batching is bad. Inventory is bad. If you just accepted those as axioms and considered them in all decisions, your work-life at least, would greatly improve.

When working with ChatGPT or Claude, I often picture Eric Idle’s castle guard in Monty Python’s Holy Grail.

“Doing Agile” or Scrum seems like a lot of work if we believe everything we knew yesterday is still true and we must integrate the new information only if it can be wedged into the cracks of the old beliefs. And we must continue doing all the things we did yesterday, plus the new things as well.

No one is multi-tasking. They might be interleaving. Which is doing multiple things poorly and multiplying queue costs.

Fearless freeing ourselves from any possible past shame or guilt is the mechanism of excellence. Deming really understood this. The urge to defend the past traps us in all the constraints and failures of yesterday.

When someone says, "I don't believe 100% improvement is possible", what do you think their chances are of achieving it?

Someone told me today point blank, that increasing a team’s throughout capacity by 100% is impossible.

If your culture treats Theory Y workers like Theory X workers, they will become Theory X workers, with all the behaviors that come along. This is not a thing you want, if you do Theory Y work.
