Former TU official, former rag arse, former beach bum, currently in limbo awaiting developments and alternating between joyful optimism and dark despair. Gentle sarcasm is a noble art.
"Us on the left" 🤣 The Greens are mainly wealthy kids at Uni, and Tories on bikes... 🤣

Firstly, get on threads Stephen. This is a good piece, though I'm not sure any longer that Starmer has the pizazz to turn thing around. Heads are down in the party which given our majority is a damming indictment of his leadership and his only position seems to be it will all come good in the end..

Hmm, this is a very middle class take John, and might be based more on wishes than the hard reality.

Sporting decisions are made of course they are, but the way you do it also matters. It's remarkable how often the kids screw up the businesses they inherit from their Mum's and Dad's, there is a reason why monarchy is a flawed system. Good luck to Horner.

John have you forgotten Chris Williamson aka the Witchfinder General the rammed through conference blocks on a 2nd referendum, & the stranglehold Lennie & his chums had on the leaders office? Quite right to challenge these things but the time to do so is when you hold the power, not when you don't.

There is a really bad disconnect between the Leaders Office and the parliamentary party, which is either to do with arrogance or ineptness. Either way they continue to squander goodwill both within the membership and the wider electorate. People's heads are down when we should be charging forward.
