If the US is serious about trade imbalances, then here is a market that can be gained rather than pounding a fist on the table & demanding entry.

Citizens of many countries including Canada, are already saying No FU & refusing to travel to the US. Intl tourism down billions already & Goldman Sachs Group Inc. estimates "in a worst-case scenario, the hit this year from reduced travel/boycotts could total almost $90 billion."

We will never capitulate.

Trump had to soften his continual commentary about annexing Canada as the 51st state after Canadians got so riled we pulled American products from shelves & cross border tourism plummeted. Trump needs a bully win over something as his losses are mounting.
