That is a very young looking Rob Ramage. I grew up in a town called Sherbrooke... Where those Sher Wood sticks were made. A few of my friends' dads worked making those NHL ubiquitous sticks. Notice the gold ring of Gold Foil? Those were only on NHL bound sticks. Everyone else got silver.

Hey @mtlgazette.bsky.social this is a very well written story. I liked the flow, I liked how the writer got great quotes that told the story from the two players' POV. Sometimes I read a story and feel like the quotes were chosen to support the story, your writer let the athletes tell the story.
