Isn’t this a reallocation of the BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing? If so, he’s screwed over service members and their families as the BAH is generally tax exempt whereas bonuses are not

Note, the Basic Allowance For Housing and the Overseas Housing Allowance are generally exempt from taxation (fed, ss, and state) although the CONUS/COLA aren’t. Whereas “bonuses” are typically taxable income so depending on which pot of $$ he’s pulling he’s actually screwing over service members.

Data centers need to pay SDC charges including the costs associated with their power consumption and impact on the utility grids/generation. State/local governments, ratepayers and utility shareholders shouldn’t shoulder those costs or subsidise the centers.

Just performative BS by her lawyers. If they truly believe the law provides that a presidential pardon covers State crimes they should file suit and litigate it.
