You only buy health insurance one year at a time. The premiums change every year. A private lifetime health insurance policy for younger people does not exist in the United States. Medicare is similar but it’s for older people and it’s not reserved for.

No insurer will sell you this policy. There is no regulatory construct for it. The NFL could self insure, but healthcare inflation runs significantly above any other measure of inflation and has for decades. How would you prudently reserve for this? Would you pay claims out of ongoing revenues?

There are huge variations in density. If you measure by volume with the wrong kind of salt it will mess up your recipe. “A cup of table salt will have twice the salting power of a cup of Diamond Crystal kosher salt.”
