Banning the AP over refusing to kiss the ring on stupidly renaming the GULF OF MEXICO is childish, 5th grade behavior from a coward who can't handle hard questions.

Oh I totally get the distinction. It's just that we're dealing with people who don't deal in distinctions.

Bill, as long as you keep calling it "liberal" democracy you're unwittingly entrenching the view that it's for "liberals" and not "patriots." I strongly advise thinking, establishment, liberals and conservatives to stop calling it "liberal" democracy and just call it "democracy."

None of which is binding and all of which this lawless executive branch will ignore at will.

Because when you have a convicted felon handed unfettered immunity for "official acts," he can literally destroy any democratic norm he wants as long as he calls it "official," and the FBI, Secret Service, and military will have no choice but to fall in line or stage a coup to regain control.

As if it will matter in the least. Who enforces the court's ruling if the court finds in favor of the agents? Who sits is atop the federal law enforcement mechanism? A felon, tax-cheat, and corrupt businessman who will simply say, "Screw you. I'm king. Try to enforce jack squat without my blessing."

Because war crimes and human rights abuses are so much easier to get away with when you don't have pesky oversight looking over your shoulder...

I agree with the piece I saw on The New Republic last week. Shove the presidency down Trump's throat. Demand answers for every crisis. Keep pressing him on his promises. Lay the blame for every *major* issue (not the minor ones, but the pocketbook stuff MAGA cares about) at his feet. #GetSmart
