October is the month I attempt to learn some of the more interesting fungi. In woods near Chepstow. Panther Cap and I think Deathcap. One will make you delirious as it poisons. The other destroys your liver and kidneys before killing you. (Thanks Wikipedia)

Still a few Pasqueflower sites in the North Cotswolds. Long walk from the road deters casual visitors. Worth seeing every year

Spring walk in the North Cotswolds. First Butterflies of the year….Brimstone and Comma. Marsh Tits calling. A Stonechat perched up on hedge. Red Kite, Buzzard and Raven all in the air together. Marsh Marigold adding colour.

Cold New Year long walk from Winchcombe over the Cotswolds. Highlight at least 15 Mandarin Duck in the Waterhatch Valley.
