Always had a bike. Cycled to school, then occasional outings as an adult around Rutland water and the like. It only got "serious" when I gave up rugby due to injury. Bought a road bike, did some sportives, joined a club, did lots of Audax and even organised some. Cycle commuting for 7+ years now.
