THE TINGLER was released on this day in 1959. Designed this poster because I love William Castle and all of his schlock.

Watching this for a second time. An interesting tale of population control in an authoritarian future where the environment has been destroyed. Wait, is it the future?

I'm not that jazzed about this film based on the trailer, but I do appreciate the Beatles homage in it.

Ever since I saw @thejoedante.bsky.social’s MATINEE and learned who William Castle was I’ve been obsessed. Thought I’d redesign the posters from some of his biggest films for fun, starting with 1959’s THE TINGLER.

This poster for the upcoming FLIGHT RISK is hilarious because it hides the fact that Mark Wahlberg's character is bald on top in the film. Note how his head is cut off below the hairline. Not too many other posters do that.

In 2017 my wife and I went to Georgia and were given a tour of President Carter’s many accomplishments on display at the Carter Center. We listened to him give a church sermon in Plains, where were lucky enough to meet the man. He was so kind and warm. One of the most impactful trips of my life.
