1960 Family. Picked up at Belk's Department Store in the children's clothing section. Went through 4 siblings, with the youngest giving them "back" to me when she was in HS. My copy's cover long since gone. Classics Illustrated, World Around Us, and I Go Pogo also read around this time.

I added a few folks whom I used to know when I lived in Florence SC. Thought I’d adda 25 year later ( this Spring) just in case the name doesn’t ring a bell. Not that the photo would be much help …

Stuff I did not know: Humphrey Bogart co-stared in a Busby Berkley movie. A comedy but not a musical. So not Bogey in a Berkley dance number, but one can dream, right? However on the poster, Bogey smiles!

We went down to Bosque del Apache NWR at San Antonio, NM. The Crane Festival is in a few weeks, but the cranes and as the picture show: other birds are already there.
No pic, but the cranes flew double diamond formations for us as we stood below in wide eyed wonder.

I've been on BlueSky since 5 September 2023, which actually makes me a long time Bsky user. Since so many folks have justjoined, I plan to repost a few photos (mostly NM shots). First a photo from last years Cranes at the Bosque (Cranes are there again this year, Festival upcoming soon)

At the tunnel pull-off in High Rolls/Mountain View NM on US-70 - one can see White Sands next to the lower peak (but not the southern end which is the National Park)
