It is with great sadness that this morning I heard of Josie's passing. Park rangers euthanised her of she was found in a poor state.

Josie is the most famous lion in the Addo Elephant Park. She is the granddaughter of Kamkwa, one of the six lions reintroduced into the Park in 2003. Now she is the grand dame. #lioness #lion #Addo
