My digital media arts major is pretty nice, as I can pick whatever pie I want instead of sticking to a specific kind of fruit or meat. I get to be some kind of jack of all trades picking up knowledge from multiple art mediums instead of the same programs over and over.

Something I think is absolutely crucial to being at GCC or any college, in fact, is to make and have connections. Human input from someone other than yourself is insanely valuable as long as you take their opinion seriously, as they take your request for their opinion seriously.

Being a technical GCC student has been interesting. It's nice I'm given the opportunity to take these classes from a place other than my home college when shown unavailable, but it only proves more awkward for me when I have to talk about life here when I've never been able to go there.

When it comes to being a student at GCC, it comes with its pros and cons. Pros such as having a flexible schedule, cons being it can be a bit lonely when it comes to making friend at times. But overall, being a student can be both stressful and rewarding
