"Oh you demand huge foreign spending in the United States?" says world leader who had previously agreed to buy a half-trillion dollars in weapons from the US while Biden was president. "Sure, our sovereign wealth fund promises to spend a half-trillion dollars on the US!"

"Oh you want to send flights of deportees into our country?" says another Latin American world leader who has already been accepting commercial flights of deportees into his country for years. "Sure, you win, I prostrate myself before you: you may send us flights of deportees"

Lol $900 a night is not bad at all for a house like that. Get 10 ppl and split it for a weekend is $270 each. Not much more than a hotel. The guy makes 400k as president, I think $2700 for a weekend is not out of the ordinary

The senate is not supposed to pass appropriations. Those appropriations were negotiated with democrats and had the backing of democrats until republicans tanked it at the behest of Trump and Musk. Lawler is a liar. Least productive House of Representatives in our nations history.

Do they know that legislation is hard and requires specific language to withstand legal scrutiny……

Biden credited Assads fall to alliances and policies damaging Iran and Russia. A direct cause of Assad falling. Biden himself stated, yes it is good that a murderous dictator is out of power, but cautioned that whoever takes over must govern as a democracy. Not another Taliban

I think HTS governing as a terrorist organization similar to the Taliban or Iranian regime or Hamas or Hezbollah is the direct cause of perpetual war. Their goal is oppression and eliminating the west. Thats not governing, thats creating a state of perpetual war.

Whose everyone? US leaders did not cheer them on. This group has faught US backed Kurdish forces and is considered a terrorist organization. They used to be Al Nusra. Anyone who knows the region is skeptical of this group. Happy Assad is gone but its a wait and see on how Syria will be governed

A group that began as an Al Qaeda branch, who has governed their territory in a manner that oppresses woman and those outside of their faith is not worthy of support until they govern in a respectable manner. Its simple, govern properly and prosperity will follow. Why would we help them opress ppl

They need to prove they will govern for all ppl; woman and those of other faiths in particular. Sharia law must not be a form of government. Democracy must prevail or no sanctions lifted

Ok…despite all that, Hegseth is still unequivocally unqualified to run the Pentagon and a trillion$ budget.

As with all extremists, their misinterpretations are purposely out of context to manipulate. Social media has amplified these views causing our current culture. Trump uses the same playbook and sadly, its working

Yea I mean thats why that trial even occurred bc he raped E Jean and then lied about her and what happened to the public multiple times. He even lost a second case bc he wouldn’t stop lying about her
December 14, 2024 at 11:06 PM
Why?! It wasn’t defamation. It was the truth. It is written in a court decision by a jury!!!!! Now Trump gets to claim the opposite. Our media has failed us

Same here. I dont know what was argued by the convict, maybe health related but this is one I would have advised against. Horrible optics.
December 14, 2024 at 1:07 PM
Clemency and pardons are separate. Grants of clemency are argued by the convict to the President/Governor based on showing remorse. In this case, the judge serves 13 yrs(4 in home confinement) and paid $100 million to victims. Hes getting out 1 yr early. His crime was not pardoned.
