Bike nut Steve McQueen on the fast, loud, full race Suzi he used as a runabout while filming in Taiwan - annoying the director (‘QUIET on set!’), the studio lawyers (‘Hey, isn't there a No Bikes clause in his contract?’) and the local fuzz, who were under strict orders not to pull him for speeding!

The first aeroplane ever to carry me into the air (as a passenger) in the early '70s - Auster J1 Autocrat Romeo Echo. Wonderful to see that she's still around; sad, however, that she's now just a museum piece (which makes two of us...).
