We used to send the CIA into countries that did stuff like the current administration is doing. You know, to topple their regimes. Now we have a president that plays the victim card every time somebody tries to hold him accountable for engaging in unconstitutional acts.

For theology to be valid it not only has to be scriptural but it also has to be christ-like. Simply we live in a world where supposed Christian leaders are misleading people because they quote the Bible but then follow it up with completely unchrist like nonsense.

So if DEI is wrong then shouldn't it be illegal for government to give people extra points for previously being in the military whenever they apply for jobs.

Just a thought maybe somebody can give me an honest answer as to when churches are going to step up and start providing medical care for those in need, considering Christ calls us to heal others. Especially since we're going to have an increased amount of need if Medicaid Cuts go through.

The prosperity doctrine and all of the thoughts that have sprung from it may have been tied to scriptures but it is not Christ-like. In order for a theology to be valid it must be both biblical and Christlike.

The problem that Jesus presents to those that don't believe is that he calls for people to radically change who they are, how they live, and the way that they interact with the world. He calls those that follow him to love other people and reject the power structures of the still corrupted world.

That is literally your Job. The Senate is responsible for confirming cabinet appointments. Your responsibility is to properly vet and either confirm or refuse to confirm the nominee of the executive branch. For instance in 1989 when the Senate rejected John Tower for Secretary of Defense.

We see Jesus, as he's walking towards his death on the cross, as he is preparing to die continuing to live within the principles that he calls his followers to live by in a very real and practical manner. The scriptures are not lofty unrealistic ideals, they are our calling to abide within.

Jesus rules over his kingdom because of the cross as that is where each of us must choose to follow him. We must follow him in his death on the cross in order to join him in eternal life.

The cross, while horrible and ugly to those that do not understand, is a beautiful and loving throne that Jesus sits upon as he calls all of humanity to accept the redemption that we are granted through his sacrifice. Some reject the cross. They want the kingdom of man and not the kingdom of God.

What if we are called to impact other souls until we are reunited with the creator in eternal perfection and when we have impacted the souls we are called to impact then we are called home to eternal perfection. Perhaps the important question when it comes to life and death is not why, but how.
