Likewise Rob, only abroad until I took one in 2023. My most wanted to see moth at the time and always a thrill to see one.

Yes it was quite a display. Just a shame I missed it with the camera, before the cloud rolled in.

😆 Another species with a western bias although no reason why you shouldn't catch one in Hants. I had 4 in VC22 Berks.

I had to wait for the bats to have their fill as the entire squadron were out soon after dark! Very few moths in the first couple of hours.

It is a beautiful species. Although the records have a western bias, you can never rule it out further east.
