Usual being seen in the big movie auditorium.
#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld This movie felt like a missed opportunity. The plot took Some jarring turns, leaving the audience struggling to keep up as if the filmmakers were scrambling to simplify a convoluted setup or course-correct a previous version.

#PaddingtonInPeru This trilogy has achieved legendary statues. Even with Paddington in the passenger seat this time, the film immediately establishes a sense of trust and skillful storytelling.

#AllWeImagineAsLight This film goes beyond simply passing the Bechdel Test, offering a powerful and much-needed form of visibility. Its representation resonated deeply with me, showcasing an authenticity that felt truly impactful.

#Vidaamuyarchi It was pretty enjoyable to watch, I'm super glad he ended his whole espionage action thriller phase. We really missed his simple storyline in the grand canvas.

#NickelBoys The seamless blending of historical footage with POV elements created a truly chilling and immersive experience. This film transcended the typical horror tropes and delivered a level of tension that surpassed anything I encountered last year.

#TheBrutalist The intermission was a welcome break. It allowed us to savor the brilliance of Act One while it was still fresh, and hopefully prevented the second act from completely derailing the film.

#Nosferatu As someone who generally avoids horror films, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. While it certainly utilized familiar horror tropes, it did so in a way that felt both reasonable and creatively unique. The film effectively built suspense and maintained a consistently engaging pace.

#Y2K It is a charming tribute to the early internet. Its Kevin Smith-esque tone and heartfelt characters make it a nostalgic delight.
Also saw at 4:20, a very apt time slot.

#Gladiator2 Ridley seems more interested in nostalgia than intrigue. He should've taken a page from his own playbook and handed the reins to someone who wasn't afraid to take risks, like they did with Blade Runner 2049.

#Anora The audience's laughter at the disturbing scenes was a jarring experience, likely influenced by some reviews that misrepresented the film's intent. While I found some of the ESL humor is very entertaining, the film's deeper exploration of a character's moral dilemma was largely missed.

#Here The film's aspirations are evident, but its execution is inconsistent. The premise, well-suited for a short format, is stretched beyond its natural length. The involvement of a renowned cast and crew adding prestige, may have hindered the project's ability to maintain focus.

#Amaran This is truly his first film to successfully shed his television persona, emerging as a credible character actor. The film's action sequences are particularly impressive, their believability unquestionable.

#TheFall While I’ve read and watched numerous analyses, nothing quite prepares you for its immersive experience. Seeing it on the big screen is a must, especially for a first-time viewer like me. The visual spectacle and emotional impact are simply unparalleled.

#Meiyazhagan If your eyes are feeling parched and the doctor said no eye drops, this movie’s a lifesaver. The story’s simple, but the acting is top-notch. It’s so relatable that it’ll make you think about your own family.

#TransformersOne Something about this movie felt super comfortable to watch, even if we're not familiar with the source material. It had an excellent story arc and natural stepping stones franchise potential

#Kneecap I was too chicken to miss out on the movie theater experience and just watched it at home with subtitles. But besides that, it was a really good movie.

#GOAT A straight up enjoyable movie. It doesn't have any of the leader tropes or some sort of hidden messages. Unfortunately it does have some major baggage of being the penultimate movie of a big star, other than that a nice romp easy to recommend.

#Raayan Phenomenal piece of work, went in completely open minded best decision ever. The use of natural elements like water and fire was outstanding, servers really well with the storyline. I would argue the best A.R. composition in a while, some of the scenes were bone-chilling.

#Hitman When you take a leap of faith with the subject matter, you have to look at the body of work the creators have done and assess their visions. Richard Linklater cannot do anything wrong, the man has shown human nuances beautifully. This movie is one of them.

#Furiosa This whole movie is the real first two acts which were missing from Fury Road. It gave a lot of context to the myth, and it also solidified Furiosa's place in Mount Rushmore of action heroes. The sound design was amazing with precise object placement.

#KingdomOfThePlanetOfTheApes Sometimes spectacle or VFX could take you out of the narrative structure of the movie. The Planet of the Apes series never walks that line, it simply enhances the storyline. This series asks probing questions to the audience, and yet never leaves them behind.
