Awesome time at the Filmhouse this afternoon watching the start of their Twin Peaks S2 showings - we won’t make every week but it was a treat to experience the first 2 episodes on a big screen.

Fantastic evening seeing TMN defeat Surrey at The Oval last night - I doubt I’ll ever see a better innings than that Bopara ton - I’ll pack it away and remember it when I need a lift. Utter magic.

Walking round the reservoir this evening, saw a heron on a raft. Not his usual place but definitely meant he had a good view of the water.

Prompted by FB I thought I’d read the novelisation of the V mini-series again. First half hews v faithful to TV version - second half is maybe less so, possibly as it was based on scripts rather than the finished show (it was released just before)

Every week at Junior Parkrun there’s some guys who have organised a game of cricket and each week they’ve got a little more professional. This week they had proper markers outlining the boundary. I love it.

Blimey they’re still going for it. If only they’d put this much effort into supporting me last year when I tried to use them.

Yay - I got tickets to the Gene reunion gig. I've only seen them 17 times and some of the other bands were catching up !
