I have a better idea. How about splitting up these mega conferences into divisions and playing everyone in your division instead of randomly scheduling conference games.

It wasn't an extra paywall. You could subscribe to MLS Season Pass without a subscription to Apple+. It just cost a little extra.

I don't know what Fox did to it on their college basketball opening, but it definitely paled in comparison to the NBA on NBC version

Inter is scheduled to be home that week (12/21) so they would have to work it out with them. Perhaps one could play on Fri/Sat and the other on Sun/Mon?

I was hoping to go to Milan to catch the Olympics and Inter/Juventus match as well as AC Milan/Como, so I hope they can figure out a way to keep it in Milan.

It's the rule of supply and demand. The more supply you have, the less the demand, therefore lower prices. FIFA overestimated both the supply and the demand.

The domed stadiums and stadiums in Western cities that have better climate that will be used for World Cup are currently being used for Gold Cup, so there shouldn't be as many issues for the World Cup.
