The McSmiths are a contemporary folk band I'm involved with. A great group of musicians. I'm also involved with Steve McSmith & the Unknown Band which gives me quite a different outlet for my music.
Remember without music life would B flat.

"Clear blue sky" was written while visiting family in Ireland. I was sitting looking out across the sea towards Malin Head on a beautiful sunny day while thinking about some of the sad political events going on. As John Lennon once sang, "Give peace a chance"
