If you watch it frame by frame and know just where to look, you may find some processing artefacts. Has anyone ever tried finding out how much water immersion is necessary to get the 02 toxicity to go into "in-water" mode? Does it kick in if just your toes are immersed? Feet? Legs? Lower torso? Upper?

If this is some sort of conductivity issue, 90% of their body is in the conducting fluid in this scenario. So the effect would still be there by and large.

You coat a body part or two in a conductive paint, do an O2 chamber dive, and see if the tox symptoms come earlier. Bob's your uncle.
