If that makes me the same as the pieces of shit calling them freaks in your eyes, congrats on finally figuring out why we never came to your rescue. Because your nuance be damned, with us or against us bullshit told us if we couldn't go the whole way with you we should just stay home. So we did.

I remain unconvinced that the genetic advantages of post puberty Trans females are sufficiently mitigated so as to not cause harm or otherwise disadvantage cis females in physical competition.
April 15, 2025 at 2:52 AM
I am totally behind people being who they want to be and doing what they want to do provided it does not harm others. On this one single issue in relation to transgenders, I am not there... YET.
April 15, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Again there is nuance to this issue. I am not your enemy. I am just not yet convinced. And if you put aside your confirmation bias and re-read the article you accused me of ignoring you will see that it is not just me that is unconvinced. This article is not the slam dunk you think it is.

If a parent can convince a perfectly healthy child they are so riddled with cancer that they can't even walk, for no other reason than to garner sympathy or pump up a GoFundMe, there is no reason they couldn't do the same with gender dysphoria.
April 15, 2025 at 2:49 AM
I don't think people are trying to convert kids to Trans as part of some woke agenda. But their motivations may not always be the best interests of the child. Google "Munchausen By Proxy".

to allow someone not yet considered mature enough to even participate in democracy to make such a decision. Mostly because due to their age they literally cannot make decisions for themselves. That puts scrutiny on the decision maker.
April 15, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Then we get into the slippery slope of "gonad removal" which is a tough one. I don't think anyone is getting their bits lopped off to win a bronze in junior varsity track. But as this procedure, unlike puberty blockers and HRT, is not reversible, it gives me pause...

Right after saying height has little to no impact on athleticism. So which is it?
April 15, 2025 at 2:46 AM
Then they make the claim that male predisposition for greater height is not conducive with athleticism and is often more of a hinderance than an advantage. Then when conceding Trans women athletes tend to be taller they excuse it by saying all elite athletes tend to be taller.
April 15, 2025 at 2:46 AM
I did read it. They definitely aren't. They cite a study showing post puberty transition results in physical advantages, then refute it with a previous study they don't even cite. Older and not cited over newer and cited simply because it supports their thesis. That's just to start.
April 15, 2025 at 2:45 AM
Again, exactly the problem. So pre and post puberty transition are exactly the same? Why do puberty blockers exist if HRT negates the effects of puberty? Inclusion laws don't differentiate. Show me that data. Keep shitting on everyone who supports you just because they haven't been fully convinced.

Perfect world, there would be equal representation. Sadly, dudes are just easier to get elected. The US democrats put women against a moron twice and lost both times. Biden was no more qualified and won. Support the men who support you. Win first. Change later. There are men who have your back.
March 14, 2025 at 8:12 PM
I believe most of the issues regarding transgenders are imagined harm and fear mongering from the right. However, I am unconvinced that transgender females do not have an athletic advantage over biological females. If that last sentence made you dismiss me as an ally, you are part of the problem.

Get this through your massively inflated heads. The amount of complaints you hear about your content is indicative of your reach. Not the "Woke Mob". If I did my job for 30 million people, I would get hundreds of thousands of unreasonable complaints. If you don't like being celebrities just stop.
March 13, 2025 at 8:50 PM
But no, until Bill and Ricky can make low effort shock value jokes without ever hearing anything but praise, a couple Karen's unreasonably bitching about their shitty jokes (with zero consequence for their careers... except for Bill who actually was cancelled BY THE FAR RIGHT) is the same as fascism
March 13, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Yet he still keeps whining about being "cancelled". Him and Bill Maher can fuck off. Sitting by watching right wing extremism overtake the nation but still drawing a false equivalency to "wokeness". "I hate all forms of extremism equally"... okay but do you hate all levels?

We already have people with too little. They are just somewhere else. It's not about adding to the global population. It's about distribution.
March 13, 2025 at 2:52 PM
True. But, we need to strengthen our internal economy. Being so dependent on exports is why we are so vulnerable to tariffs. It will take a monumental shift but the world has just monumentally shifted. We can't continue to look at things through the pre-Covid/Trump lens.
March 13, 2025 at 3:53 AM
But we also need consumers (ie. more people) to grow within our borders and be less dependent on trade. Our population causes us to lean heavily on exports as we have so much more than we need. We should be leaning into population growth and responsible immigration rather away from it.
March 13, 2025 at 3:33 AM
I whole heartedly agree with you. We need investors to RESPONSIBLY tap into our bountiful natural resources to increase revenue. As it is we ship out more raw resources than processed ones which leaves money on the table.
March 13, 2025 at 3:27 AM
That's what I meant by ahead of the curve. We are well funded with low debt relative to GDP. But that funding will look like small potatoes compared to (former) US funding due to their higher GDP and revenue, even if we are better funded relative to GDP.
March 13, 2025 at 12:24 AM
I will be honest. In Canada, funding is probably not our strong suit. I mean funding proportionate to GDP we are probably ahead of the curve. But GDP is what it is. If we can attact more wealth and investment to our amazing country, funding will rise. And you won't have to kiss the ring to get it.
