Walking? On the flat? Soft. Bet he hasn't drilled climbing holds into the walls and ceilings, removed the stairs and so required to get around using climbing moves only

Also highlights why any claims to the RoI that a "British human rights" act would be a good substitute for ECHR are utter lies

Can you still get it? I think numberetti spaghetti went away a while ago

This is interesting-I wonder how it maps to Britain's post-industrial landscape where the Welsh Valleys and north east England seem similar

It being legal in most states to turn right on red "giving way" to pedestrians has to be a factor in pedestrian deaths all round.

3 days to do 5 miles of "The Rubicon Trail". That's a fail.

When she wants to next drive to the free parking HoL members get, maybe she'll do it in a car whose HUD displays current speed limit and vehicle speed. Or at least learn how to set Waze up to warn when you are > 5 mph.

But where there is drone coverage the combination of minefields-forcing the armour into single file on roads- and low cost drones makes the vehicles as obsolete as horseback charges in WWI

"Have cake, eat cake" and a (deliberately?) naive belief that changes to the GFA can be imposed by England & that those communities who consider themselves affected will accept it. Ignoring international obligations, the motivation for the creation of the Windsor Agreement belies this belief

Theresa May's immigration enforcers raided a coffee shop in Cricklewood. They'd have to read a lot of of coffee shops to meet that monthly quota.

Having a GPU on the device you own is the sensible way to do this.
-no need for DCs
-can power off your solar, phone/laptop battery
-hardware is a consumer CAPEX
-you can do something useful with it like gaming
If OpenAI are server-side only, that's unfortunate for them

Lot of beige in those photos- hopefully that's just the photographer asking for the specific hotel room rather than a lifestyle choice. Too much beige is unhealthy
Wouldn't have guessed hammersmith though-I had you down for SE England but not (inner) London.

- only new use case given you can report potholes anonymously with findmystreet
- avoids antagonising Scotland, Wales and half the NI population
- doesn't rhyme with "shitcard" the way britcard does

If your browser can use your phone's possession of an ID card as proof of age, and anonymously attest to that to the web sites, we now have a proposal to reinstate anonymous browsing of pornography. Not the driver of Starmer's proposal -but "porn card" could be the selling point

Bad enough in Scotland. Wales residents will expect the right to make the artwork welsh.

I am still overwhelmed by how changing the car locale sticker from GB to UK really brought the country together

TfL inspectors are Sadiq's enforcement arm of sharia law as they can apply it across zones 1-6. There's still a holdout of christianity at Amersham as not even the inspectors can be arsed to go that far on the metropolitan line

The great thing about fusion is on that promised timeline it'd destroy the ROI on any new fossil fuel project.

They should include it in their business plans

I hear TfL have inspectors in the parks to make sure that anyone who kills and eats a swan kills it the halal way.

Surprised how cheerful the detention centre looked. No artwork reviews by Robert Jenrick, clearly

That classic market means they could survive a slowdown/collapse in the AI bubble -it'd just significantly hurt their stock price. Less traumatic than having to focus on video gaming & and High Performance Computing the way and Nvidia would have to go
September 19, 2025 at 8:41 PM
This means they have a bigger market than just AI -but as AI DCs get built/upgraded, they're going to be selling the boxes the GPUs go in.

Without that increased demand their business would just be replacing old servers at AWS, MSFT, google, facebook every 3-5 years, plus non-AI growth
