Us being the problem is all too true. The signs and marching isn't enough to scare the Republicans or the SC and surely not Trump and Elon. We're going to need actual weapons and numbers to great for them to push back. Farmers with tractors and truckers with their rigs and other things we don't have

None of us here can know what will happen in a shutdown. And yes, I think. Schumer and other leaders of the Democratic party are doing a shit job of resisting. I am the last expert on politics and government however the problem isn't the leaders, it's us.

It is highly likely that community banks will become fodder for the ultra wealthy under the current administration. DOGE/musk has already indicated the end of Community Development Financial Institutions Fund. He wants to end FDIC, Federal Deposit Insurance.
