FF has huge ongoing revenue streams to mitigate financing needs. Green energy at every scale from farm to rooftop and at every supply chain point need new financing. Plus, startups in a growth sector lead to IPO's, M&A's and all manner of insider Wall Street grifting.

Relatedly, this recent Post article was also eye opening. Seven tech stocks account for nearly 1/3 of the S&P market cap and their bubble is masking stagnation in the other 493 stocks. The S&P 500 is no longer a diversified investment vehicle. wapo.st/4rlFfjg

😂😂😂 So you're saying those positions are problematic to defend. It's kind of a problem if your biggest litmus test issues are things that candidates can't campaign on.

These are positions that they're going to advocate for and have to defend, so kind of does make it part of a platform. It's not like they can communicate their position on them and keep it secret all at the same time.

Not saying give up and don't try, but IMO this is not a likely remedy within the next decade plus and other, shorter term, achievable objectives should also be identified.

A notionally laudable list but problematic as an electoral platform and outright fantasy as anything close to a half-dozen year or more time horizon project. You get one crack at them every six years & statewide primaries are expensive & hard. You'll be lucky to effect this in a generation. 1/

How do you write/read this & not be appalled that (blue state) Senators - constitutionally created to protect the sovereign states from Federal overreach - are solely focused on (clinging to their) healthcare (woobie) with their rare lever of power? Their clients are their states, not the Fed govt.

Read the whole thing. Hope is not a plan and if they're going to exert maximal pressure in the rare moment when they can, it needs to be for a purpose commensurate to the national emergency. Healthcare subsidies ain't it.

Here's a challenge: Find me the Democrats single sentence explanation for why they are withholding their votes. Not trolling here. This is a serious strategic and messaging failure.
