Yes more secure parking is needed but if not there I take my bike in with me wherever I go. Eg. LCBO, Home Hardware, No Frills, Indian Takeaway etc. I get some funny looks but have never been asked to leave!

I love those signs! I treat them as an invitation to take the lane. I particularly enjoy them when I point them out to the idiot behind me honking his horn! After they honk I usually sit up and slow down too. Life is good on a bike 😍

I followed the link you provided but there is hardly any info about this project there. I use the Thames Valley Parkway through Ivey Park every day and am concerned that the "detour" will involve being pushed into dangerous car traffic. Where can I get more info on the planned detour routes? Thanks

Totally agree! Sick to death of bike lanes in #ldnont that suddenly end and spit you out into car lanes. Car Drivers do not want us in their lanes either!
