Probably the original short story, 'Light of Other Days'. Bob was full of fun concepts like that, such as 'The Giaconda Caper', in which the Mona Lisa is revealed as one frame in a Renaissance movie.

Enjoyed the movie quiz, and using the music from sequels was a sneaky move. Narrowly missed out on entering due to the timezone difference.

I've since tracked down the original Guardian article and there is no mention of Disney, just DC, which makes rather more sense -- but doesn't justify the lawyers acting in such a heavy-handed fashion over a French website for mothers calling itself 'Wondermum'.

Several years ago, Keith Miller published two volumes of reminiscences and material from his years running the Doctor Who Fan Club (of which I was also a member, joining during Jon Pertwee's tenure). It could arguably have been compressed into one, but such resources are highly valuable.

As someone active in UK Star Trek fandom in the 1970s, that statement is palpably untrue. Many of those running early Trek organisations were women, as were the authors of much of the fan-fiction.

Janet Quarton was an absolute powerhouse, and the Star Trek Action Group -- which I joined circa 1975/76 -- gave UK Trekkies a real focus for their enthusiasm. Gene Roddenberry himself praised her contribution, and reportedly named 'Q' in her honour.

I have not, but may well check it out. I see it has Columbo's 'guest killer of the week' format.
