No to either. I read some of Fforde's books including "The Eyre Affair" (which I read before reading "Jane Eyre". Wasn't my best move.). Thanks for the heads up on "The Last Dragonslayer". "The Princess Bride" is on my TBR list.

At my local bookstore, the person was checkiing out my books and saw I bought one by Esther Freisner. Asked me if I ever read Terry Pratchett. I said no. Bought two of his books and then all the others in the Discworld series.

Although immunity is weaker with the vaccine, it comes without "... fever, lymphadenopathies, skin lesions, and complications such as proctitis, bacterial infections, and scarring." You know someone is going to post why bother to vaccinate; the vaccine isn't perfect.

Happens all the time. New govt comes in, says deficit/new problem worse than thought and breaks election promises. I don't vote for specific promises because no govt will keep them. I just vote directionally and hope the party doesn't veer off.
