Haha maybe not! I'm presuming the Planning and Infrastructure Bill is going to get JR'd. So in the short term at least, just have more staff to get stuff done. I think the budget last year did mention more planning resource but am told it's nowhere near enough.

From my non expert perspective, a big blocker to a lot of the "get stuff built" narrative is simply a lack of people to handle planning. I know they want to streamline, red tape etc. But I can't help but think just bunging, e.g, Natural England a bunch of money for staff might be more effective
