The Beeb claims to be impartial and AFAIK they do try to be, although they may not always succeed. I don’t think The Telegraph makes any attempt at impartiality - although printing bare-faced lies is still appalling journalism.

It’s equally valid for dark mornings to have an impact on mental health.

Yeah that’s the point: I’m not happy about waking up before dawn. The clocks being put artificially forward by an hour makes me have to be awake before dawn. And it sucks. Lighter mornings FTW.

There is no net loss of sunlight. I for one am glad that the mornings are lighter again - makes it so much easier to feel awake and start the day if you’re getting up when it’s light rather than when it’s still quite dark outside.
