But if you check in search console (not the Wix dashboard) the child sitemaps are not always read and you'll see a couldn't fetch issue. Have seen this with loads of Wix sites. Need to check this for all four sitemaps.

Have you checked the sitemaps in Search Console? Occasionally you may need to resubmit them as they've not been read leading to not discovered issues.

I think Rand the vast majority of those switching are for social purposes - there's been a huge migration in the UK in sports, arts and politics this week. For instance with Liverpool FC (one of the biggest sports clubs in the world) we've seen fans and journalists move across en masse.
