6. RPG that is easy to use
Old School Essentials has become my new go-to.
IMO, a lot of “simpler” RPGs aren’t actually easy to GM. It’s less prep than a D&D-like but a lot more effort during play. Especially PBTA games.
For me, OSE is easy to prep, easy to teach, and easy to run. I love that.

6. RPG that is easy to use
Old School Essentials has become my new go-to.
IMO, a lot of “simpler” RPGs aren’t actually easy to GM. It’s less prep than a D&D-like but a lot more effort during play. Especially PBTA games.

I mean even if you don't want to stray too far there's a system for you. Dungeon Crawl Classics is amazing if you want a simple if anarchic experience that feels like old school d&d. Or you could literally play old school B/X with old school essentials and not give WotC a cent.
