Reminder that when Democrats get brushed off the plate by obvious bad-faith (and false!) “soft on crime” scare tactics, we end up with this.

Congratulations to the U.S. Senators who tried to pander to people who were never going to vote for you no matter what.
Senate Democrats’ Abandonment of Adeel Mangi Made Emil Bove’s Confirmation Possible
Senate Democrats could have confirmed Biden nominee Adeel Mangi to the Third Circuit last year. They caved to a disgraceful right-wing smear campaign instead.

The Thomas Edison of our time—inventing shit that existed when Edison was still alive.

These type of guys’ whole game is to “reimagine” stuff that’s existed for decades and charge you 3 times as much for half the quality.

Q: Some of the ACA tax credits are set to expire at the end of the year. How important is it for Republicans to stop that from happening?

HAWLEY: Well, if we don't, the cost of insurance is just going to explode. Explode for families, working people. Already the premium increases are unbelievable.

This morning's news was difficult to hear. Gerry Connolly wasn't just a Northern Virginia icon, but a friend. I count myself lucky, as a Fairfax County resident, to have benefited from his decades of leadership – a legacy that will be felt for generations to come.

For over 30 years, Gerry Connolly has championed Fairfax County and Northern Virginia’s most pressing issues.

As both a constituent, and as a friend, I’ll deeply miss his leadership and unwavering commitment to our community.

“Don’t quit before the miracle happens.” —the takeaway from one of our Recovery Court graduates at the graduation ceremony I just attended.

Man, this is such a good program that really helps people with addiction issues live in recovery. It’s inspiring what people can do if given help and a chance

The DOJ's Civil Rights Division was founded in 1957. It's one of the reasons I was inspired to serve as a federal prosecutor under President Obama.

Now, 60+ years later, the Trump admin is destroying one of the most powerful institutions dedicated to fighting discrimination.
