The really unprecedented thing here is that this isn't all against all, it's one against all. The rest of us are still trading with each other like normal. There are normally no winners in a trade war, but I think anyone who benefits from a weakened United States will do all right.

The stakes in this election are truly existential for the country and for higher democratic values, so I'm all in on the Liberals in this election.
