Also... what is a brown bear? A black bear is a species. A grizzly bear is a species. Sometimes grizzlies are called brown bears. Sometimes black bears are brown in colour.

With all due respect, "marmot" is too vague. The yellow-bellied marmot and hoary marmot are neat but not BC specific. OTOH, the Vancouver Island marmot would have a good chance at doing well. If you are going to specify the species for every other category, the same should be done for marmot.
