Leftie, blue, listens to the music that nobody likes and writes tediously about it.

What are you finding bleak? The prospect of 5 days of work or Radiohead?😉

Only just saw this. Fantastic album, missing from my collection!

Nice video of NL and Graham Parker and others in recent gig remembering Bob Andrews (piano on ‘Broken Glass’ single) who died earlier this youtu.be/waK-pg1Ec_A?...

As an Everton fan, I really think he could have flourished playing in front of Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye. Hope he succeeds at Leeds

Great review. Loved their early couple of albums, then like the worst kind of music snob ignored them when they became popular. Time to revisit!

The Clash – Combat Rock (1982)

Just fantastic! I’m coming up to number 600 on my blog, and this will be perfect to mark that.
The personal is what makes a great review. No one should need London Calling explaining track by track (although that’s probably exactly what I’ll do) 😉

Im a bit late to this, but as ever, a fantastic review. Now there’s all the live albums, compilations, Peel sessions… You’ve got another couple of years’ worth yet. Here’s my take on this one steveburnhamuk.wixsite.com/my-ridiculou...

Might it mean that councillors are held personally responsible when they make wrong decisions due to refusing to attend training? I’m looking forward to a Reform councillor losing his house to legal bills due to refusal to attend basic inclusion training.
