McDonald's is too expensive. There used to be 3 reasons to go to McDonald's. 1. Your kids want to go. 2. You are in a rush and it was fast. 3. It wasn't good but it was cheap.

2 and 3 no longer apply.

Yeah, the kid's at my daughter's school were talking about the war and if their school was going to be bombed by Trump. I'm assuming they heard parents talking about the trade war and did not understand what they were talking about. I never thought we would have to deal with this insanity.

It's all bullshit. Canada is - or was - the most fair of all trading partners with the US. No intellectual property theft, no low cost or child labor, sells the US oil at below market rates, etc. Canadians spend - or spent - billions on US products, services, tourism and investment in the US.

This. And most people know this is the tyranny of the administration and not regular people.

Talk about moving downwards...

President Trump says he is ready to make deals, but Canada and Mexico are well aware that his signature can't be trusted. They both have significant tariffs because he broke the free trade deal he signed. Countries should pay attention to how Trump has treated Canada and Mexico.

You are being way too hard on ingrown toenails.

Great album. Robert Plant has had a very interesting and varied solo career. He has followed his muse and his musical passions and I really respect that.

Two amazing years. So many of my favourite albums were released in 1985 and 1987. At that time, still come were 1991 and 1993 as years with equally amazing releases.

Sometimes cheesy is still good and fun. The whole series is over the top and hard to believe, but it is still fun. Johnny's journey has been fun to watch.

Agreed. Some things are more important than degenerate scumbags being able to put a piece of rubber into a net.

Two terrible scumbags that deserve each other. Both can go to hell.

Elevation is actually my least favourite U2 concert staple (even though I can understand why they play it live), but Beautiful Day is a top U2 single and I think Kite is among their best songs. A lot of other great tunes on that record.

I saw them as well - I think it was the X tour. As per usual, you are right - they were great live. It doesn't need to be said again - Hutchence was one of the all time great front men.

I miss INXS. Such a great band and songwriters.

Your reply was more succinct and spot on than mine. Hope you are doing well AJ.

One of the best albums of all time. You are right that many dislike them, but I've always been a massive fan. Everything up to Pop was top notch for me and there are still great songs on their later more uneven records.

Watters is the modern equivalent of a court jester. His very existence lowers the collective intelligence of humanity.

Hopefully we can come out of this stronger. It's been disconcerting see cracks in the unity we had with the exception of Smith, but maybe that is just federal election posturing.

Just ignore them. He's had successes in his career and is a decent manager overall. He was not good when at Arsenal.
