Agreed. Never again? I won't say never never never, but I will say it would take a period of good behavior that is longer than my remaining lifetime (in my 70s).

A few months ago, on a PBS station, they reran a documentary on the Watergate scandal – plenty of footage on Nixon’s words and actions. Watching that, I was struck, again and again, at how much of a GENIUS and a SAINT Nixon was, compared to Trump.

Voting for both parties? I have (rarely) voted for GOP when there was no even slightly qualified alternative.

In Waymo's defense: they're not crying "fake news", they're not "lawyering up" to stop any action. The are immediately working to FIX the problem.
Compare that to the actions of many PEOPLE who screwed up.

News organizations may want to add a new daily program to their schedule. A program devoted to going through a list saying “On (date), (official) said he hadn’t had time to look into (issue). We still don’t have an update from (official).

Here’s an idea: Based on the statistics of perpetrators of political assassinations in America, it may be time to round up, lock up and deport all young white males – especially those from conservative, gun-toting families.
