I know this isn’t a major part of your point, but Pokemon did announce a price of their DLC same day. The answer is, both games doing it isn’t great! The demo for Digimon was a lot of fun, and I’m sure Pokemon will be fun as well, and when people start to play it I’m sure they’ll complain less.

I know it says it in the article but flipping the controls for using the Wind Waker makes it not an actual option for me personally.

Japanese version is apparently a download code. Not sure what that means for everywhere else.
