"AI makes art more accessible"

Art isn't a building only accessible by stairs, it's a creative medium. Literally anyone, regardless of their circumstances, can create art, without your stupid software that thinks people have adaptive numbers of fingers.

Linux is like the Doom of operating systems. People will basically try to get it running on everything, even when it runs (or is controlled) horribly and is not at all practical. The difference is that for Linux, this is (kind of) an intended feature.

had someone come at me with "if your choice is between Hitler and not-Hitler it's a fucking no brainer," which is correct, but please remember Hitler lost the election in '32 and it didn't stop him seizing power in '33.

@dimden.dev Not sure if you've noticed, but someone put your extension on the Firefox store. Just thought I'd bring this to your attention since it doesn't to have gotten permission (mainly it links to the GitHub repository, but doesn't have a link back).

It's neat that Fandom reduced the thickness of their sidebar a little tiny bit. Too bad they added a header (meaning more real estate is taken up by the global navigation) AND broke by userstyle (by changing their design). Anyway, I'm still gradually working on making a 2.0 for YAFD. (1/2)

Why does the #Minecraft community seem to hate Mojang? The only thing I ever see is people calling them lazy, and complaining about the latest update; usually with a mix of: this update isn't "Minecraft"-y, this update is too big, this update is too small.

@phillydefranco.bsky.social You might already know this, but you can pretty much set your Bluesky handle to any domain or subdomain that you have control over. More info: bsky.social/about/blog/4...

Using a domain as your handle helps with account identity, verification, and portability. Here's how to set your domain as your handle.

Saw this in my RSS feed!

It should be coming to users over the next few days, assuming that's what they mean by "gradually," if you're currently unable to see this feature: make sure to refresh Bluesky!

I've tried the Arc browser. It's not great.
I also decided to try Vivaldi. I like it.

Arc is no where near the point they could even hope to compete with a browser like Chrome. Plus, I don't know if it even could, to be honest.

I just found out that my handle was apparently invalid for awhile, meaning it wouldn't "resolve" (basically, you couldn't visit my profile). The reason for this is that Jekyll doesn't include dot-files(and directories) in a deployed server.

I felt like finishing something today, so I went ahead and finished a server that can be used to provide multiple Bluesky handles. codeberg.org/Steve0Greatn...

I look forward to seeing how Bluesky now shifting to allow you to host your own content turns out in the long run, or if it'd allow for posts larger than what bsky.social (as a host of content, not your handle) allows.

Open Graph is cool. Meta, formerly Facebook, has made some really cool stuff, and the Open Graph protocol is one of them. Basically, it allows a website to communicate basic details of itself(and/or its page(s)) without including a specific API or Site A needing to do much. ogp.me

Hey all! I've been trying to find the origin of these images( some below, or, ZIP for all: file.garden/ZVv1LzrahkhX... ).

So far, I've been able to trace them back to an open source project called PunBB. I've asked the original uploader of them, but they haven't gotten back to me.

Only on an alt-tech platform.

Context: These are the top 2 comments on a featured video on the platform known as "Odysee" (aka "LBRY"). The video was about Amazon "hating" Christmas. Also, just an FYI: This is against the platform's Guidelines.
