Same. Seems like a no-brainer.

SSDs more reliable and much faster certainly. I haven't had any fail due to heat. I've had reader adapters fail, but not the cards themselves, after using 50+ cards this way over the past decade.

Personally I'm not in favor of our committing murder on the high seas. Even if we take the USG's word for it that these were drug smugglers, they were probably not smuggling drugs into the US, so I see this as not really something that should distract us from much more important military matters.

Fine to debate if we should be murdering drug runners on the high seas, but these were not innocent fishermen.

Ya, I'm sure this will work out well for the UK once the news gets back to trump. Probably should have taken the L on this one instead of jeopardizing our intelligence sharing. But, bravo for having red lines. Seriously.

Something like this, but at least USB 3.0 and reliable. I can't recommend this one because they're very unreliable.

I used to use a USB-A micro SD card reader that fit nearly flush with the jack on my laptops. Generally liked it a lot, except it was USB 2.0 so thus slow, plus they were not the most reliable little devices. Wish someone would make a reliable USB 3.0+ version that did not stick out. Still looking.
