Photo I took of a Silver Gull who appeared to be engaged in a very important task. I considered following the gull to ask them what they were about, but I thought it best to keep my distance from any bird that’s carrying a stick.

Marbled Godwits that were nice enough to pause for a moment so I could get a photo. I took this a while back at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. I like the reflections of the birds in the shallow water.

Still using my Canon EOS REBEL T4i.

I wish I could always have the patience of a heron.

This one always makes me laugh. This Brewer's Blackbird seems to be impatient for me to leave so they can get back to whatever they were doing before I got there.

A murder of crows came to the house yesterday for a visit. They stayed for about 30 minutes.
