Not many views with haze and clouds on Tiger Mountain yesterday, but there was some interesting wildlife to see. #pnw #hiking
A large yellow and black banana slug in the dirt on the side of the trail. One of about a dozen seen. Interesting black mushroom with brown mushrooms growing on the inverted top along the trail. A heron and ducks sit on branches sticking out of an algae covered pond seen through foliage. A small black and green garter snake crosses the dry, rocky trail with sparse dead leaves.

Did the Kamikaze trail up Mt. Teneriffe today. It’s called that because of 2,300 feet of gain in the last 9/10ths of a mile. Overall hiked 10 miles with just over 4k of gain. View of Rainier from near the top. #pnw #hiking
