@hdtodd.bsky.social For sure... elements of Bsky's open data structure appear lend themselves to profitable mining. Plus the corporate history and leader bios are, er, interesting. Perhaps Sun's Scott McNealy nailed it ~25 years ago: "There's no such thing a privacy anymore, get over it."

I haven't dug too deeply yet, but bsky is configured as a social benefit corp. Of course, we now can observe how well a public good/AI safety structure worked out for Open AI in the end. In retrospect, it's amazing that we were able to ride the FB wave for ~15 years.
