Broadcasters (I’m watching on Foxtel) are optically adding an AAMI logo onto the ground. It looks like one of those tricky perspective painted ground ads (which they also have), but it is not there in long shots. What new corporate bullshit is this? #afl

Every Gold Coast player surely got the classic “is that what you’re wearing?” from their partners when leaving the house tonight. #afl

Messaging from Essendon seems appropriate tonight. Team full of kids, some positions may be filled by cardboard cutouts with crudely drawn players on them. #afl

It’s getting to the point where it’s almost hard to buy dishwashing powder, the whole product range dominated by tablets. Tablets are more expensive and a worse product. What is going on here? Am I the only one frustrated and mystified by this shift? Why do people buy these things?

Sorry, I have already lost who posted this - saved it and just looked at it again. Suddenly twigged it includes statins. Are they really that costly? I am on statins as a precautionary measure secondary to diabetes. Always considers them a step up from aspirin in the exotic medicine stakes.

AFL360 are doing a really poorly thought out thing where they are giving a car away at the end of the year based on Gary Lyon’s weekly 3-2-1 votes. It’s bizarre. With so few votes and just one judge, Lyon’s going to all but gift a car to the first person he decides to mention twice. #afl #afl360

Diagrams released today by the government of the canopy outcome they expect under the new codified ResCode. This is really poor, and sits very oddly aside their just-released ambitions about tree canopy in Plan for Victoria.

Mine’s in there too. But about worry, ChatGPT is egging me on to sue.

A week ago very footy show was “North are rubbish forever.” They seem to have lost all sense of self-awareness about the wild week-by-week hot takes. Take a freaking chill pill footy media, I beg of you #afl

Essendon members. The club has sent out a survey about a “run out song” that you probably ignored because you don’t care. *However* it also includes the opportunity to vote NO to playing songs after goals. Please vote no so we can keep this bothersome game day nonsense to a minimum. #essendon #afl
